These are 2-, 3-, 4- or 6-axis robots made by combining single-axis robots, mounted at right angles to each other; this allows configurations such as "X + Y axis", "X + Z axis", "Y + Z axis", "gantry","X + Y + Z axis", etc. for up to 6 sliders.
In addition, a 4-axis combination, comprising either a 3-axis combination plus a single rotary axis of (RS) - or a 2-axis combination with a vertically movable rotary (ZR) are also possible.
